I have a big event announcement to make! I’m going to be a Meet and Greet cat at one of the year’s biggest happenings:
That’s right, the Cat Fanciers Association is having its International Cat Show and a Cat Expo that will include education, a Meow Mall, and celebrities from the cat world! There will also be an Adoption Village with cats from nearby rescues and shelters. The dates are October 14 and 15, and it will be at the International Exposition Convention Center in Cleveland, OH. Already booked are people like Nathan the Cat Lady, Sterling “TrapKing” Davis, and a number of Meet and Greet cats, me included! You can see me on the schedule here, and more fun things will be added along the way.
Can you believe the last time I did an event similar to this was Meow MeetUp, before the pandemic? I’ve done lots of cat shows since, but not a formal event where you have to buy tickets, like the Meet and Greets that will be happening at the CFA Expo.
So far I’m only doing Meet and Greets, but my human did let them know I was available for other things. She even pitched an idea (I’ll let you know if it happens!). When I did the Wag Petcon in San Diego, Steve Dale used me in one of his talks. That was so cool!
I’ve done big cat shows, including San Diego, and the time the International show came to Portland, but it’s always been as part of the cat show. This time it’s part of the expo and I’m an advertised celebrity!
Because the CFA International Cat Show and Expo is in Cleveland, I’ll be a lot closer to many of my friends I couldn’t otherwise meet in person! Tickets will go on sale in June. This will be a really fun and exciting event, not just because I’m there. So I hope a lot of you will be able to come! I’ll fill you in on more details as I learn them!
